Cheers Interactive was formed in the year 2000 by a team of young and energetic professionals from varied backgrounds.

Board of Advisors


Stuart Crighton
Advisor

Stuart is a graduate in business from the University of London. He worked with Sodexho, to develop a commercial business in their remote services division throughout Central Asia. A British citizen with resident status in India, he later set up a services business for Orion CCG (a Facilities Management Company) in India and Asia. After three years of direct business experience, he joined Ezeego, a travel retail startup in India. Later he joined Abacus Distribution Systems, a leading GDS in Asia-Pacific as Head – South and West Asia and was responsible for entire operations and strategies in five markets in the
Indian subcontinent.

As an advisor at Cheers Interactive, Stuart leverages his expertise in project management and implementation of business change.

 
Michael Stock
Advisor

Michael joined BBC Radio in 1994 to establish BBC's first call centre in Glasgow after ten years as a lawyer specialising in employment law and is currently working in BBC’s Marketing, Communication and Audience Division. In 2001 Michael joined Mike Havard's team from CM-Insight and the Financial Times that visited India and produced one of the first reports after Nasscom, 'The Call for India'. In the year 2003 he led the strategic vision, procurement and contract negotiation with Capita, one of the BBC’s commercial partners and was responsible for the subsequent implementation across five sites in the UK.

As a Call and Contact Association (CCA) founder member and current board director Michael leads the CCA's work on 'extending reach' including the overseas network and developing new learning services for employers and individuals. Michael is also a BBC business coach for leaders on the Ashridge Management programme. Michael specializes in globalisation, interaction and loyalty.

As an advisor at Cheers Interactive, Michael’s insight helps us in framing business development and marketing strategies.

 
Phil Norman
Advisor


Phil graduated with an M.Sc from the London School of Economics before spending over 20 successful years in line management positions with major international organisations such as Procter & Gamble, General Mills and NatWest Bank. This included Director level appointments in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Strategic Planning and General Management.

He is experienced in all areas of strategy & planning, performance measurement & reporting, sales & marketing, customer service improvement, quality & productivity management, change management and organisational development. Phil founded IntravateÒ in 1994, a specialist company to help complex organisations improve the delivery of key strategic objectives. Cheers Interactive is a Rapid Impact Associate of Intravate.

As an advisor at Cheers Interactive, Phil leverages his expertise in performance measurement and reporting to improve quality of service delivery.

 
Mathew Spacie
Mathew Spacie
Advisor

Matthew is a UK citizen with residency status in India and lives with his wife in Mumbai. He first came to India in 1986 where he worked as a volunteer with The Sisters of Charity in Calcutta. Following his graduation and a number of management positions in the UK, he was posted to India ten years later working as the Chief Operating Officer for Cox & Kings, then India’s largest travel company. In February 1999, Matthew initiated the Magic Bus working with children from the Akanksha Foundation. Having played international rugby for India, he used this as his platform to start the sports programme for Magic Bus. He resigned from his job in 2001 and now works full-time for Magic Bus. In July 2002, Matthew was awarded an Ashoka Fellowship.

Nayan Shah

Nayan oversees corporate strategy, alliances, business development and client relations. Before promoting Cheers Interactive India Pvt Ltd, he provided consultancy for a number of projects aimed at assisting companies develop cohesive Customer Relation Strategies and counselled clients on exploiting Business Process Management Services. Nayan is a graduate in Foreign Trade Management from Bombay University

Hitesh Shah

Hitesh oversees operations, human resources and quality assurance. He brings in varied call centre management experience and expertise in quality assurance and processes. He is a certified COPC registered coordinator. Hitesh was involved in managing the call center for Clark Alumni Fund, USA that was also involved in extensive outbound campaigns for research projects undertaken on behalf of Massachusetts State. Hitesh is a graduate from Clark University, Boston, USA.

 
Peter Ferrao 

Peter is responsible for process migration and current operations at Cheers Interactive. He has over 8 years of hands-on experience in the contact centre industry. Peter has worked with Birla AT&T Communications (a tie up between AT&T inc. USA and the Aditya Birla Group). He was involved with the customer service team and was responsible for managing the call centre. He has also conducted training programs and developed training manuals for the Customer Service teams. Peter is a graduate from Bombay University.

 
Srinivas Vedula

Srinivas is a business analyst who oversees process migration and new business lines. He has over 18 years of experience in FMCG, Life Sciences and Service industries. Srinivas is a science graduate from Bangalore University and a post graduate in Information Systems.

   
 

Aparna Chalke

Aparna is associated with Cheers for the past four years and currently heads the Knowledge Management team within the organization. Aparna is a commerce graduate and also holds a masters degree in Law from Mumbai University. She has spent over 10 years in the service industry and has rich experience in handling operations teams, sales and marketing, client relationships and business development functions.

   
 

Neyaz Ahmad

Neyaz is with Cheers for the past two years and manages process migration function. He holds a masters degree in Economics from Mumbai University. Neyaz, a clear thinker adds value to the organization with his good analytical and problem solving skills. Prior to joining Cheers, Neyaz has worked with an IT solution company handling client co-ordination, marketing and office administration functions.
